Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FenerBahçeSK's Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honaz's Hazım Refik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Honaz's goal looked a bit too open when Bahattin Tuncay came free, but Hazım Refik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behram Toker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, FenerBahçeSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersan Akgüngör to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Cristoforo Crema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hazım Refik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazım Refik came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FenerBahçeSK's Bahattin Tuncay. But to his dismay, Bahattin Tuncay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hazım Refik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahattin Tuncay in the 18th minute of the match. FenerBahçeSK's Troy Walls proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FenerBahçeSK from getting a goal against them. Hazım Refik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cabbar Olcay's late challenge caught a FenerBahçeSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cabbar Olcay helped the player get up and apologised. Cabbar Olcay hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, FenerBahçeSK's Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hazım Refik was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Crema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hazım Refik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hazım Refik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Honaz's Hazım Refik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahattin Tuncay in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Hazım Uçuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Walls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazım Refik came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FenerBahçeSK's Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel. But to his dismay, Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Honaz's Rafet Başok slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Troy Walls. That made the score 1-4 after 41 minutes of play. 1-5 came in the 45th minute when Bahattin Tuncay all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Hazım Refik. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Troy Walls showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazım Uçuk in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honaz's Tuncay Süner got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hazım Refik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahattin Tuncay in the 60th minute. Troy Walls made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafet Başok in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Honaz's goalkeeper Hazım Refik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Crema. Honaz's Hazım Refik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Hürsel in the 65th minute of play. Honaz's Hazım Refik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Honaz from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Honaz getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Serkan Atlas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Honaz's Hazım Refik got control of the ball when Cristoforo Crema tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Crema notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Honaz's Hazım Refik. Hazım Refik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristoforo Crema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hazım Refik made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Cabbar Olcay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Walls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazım Refik made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bahattin Tuncay sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Crema got free with Hazım Refik in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FenerBahçeSK's Troy Walls played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafet Başok in the 88th minute of play. Honaz's Rafet Başok got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Rafet Başok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Walls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FenerBahçeSK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
