Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Aybars Hanedan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honaz and the Ankaragücü JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aybars Hanedan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ankaragücü JK's Adnan Özdilek got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankaragücü JK's goalkeeper Kunter Cevizoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orhan Veli Ongel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Honaz's Ali Vedat Kortan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ankaragücü JK. Çağlar Sabi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Kunter Cevizoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honaz. Münir İlmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Hakkı Deniz Akbudun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kunter Cevizoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Honaz's Hakkı Deniz Akbudun came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Kunter Cevizoğlu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 25 played minutes Ankaragücü JK got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçalp Akkılıç. Ali Vedat Kortan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kunter Cevizoğlu. Ankaragücü JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökcan İmge during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Gökcan İmge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Kunter Cevizoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Honaz's Hakkı Deniz Akbudun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hakkı Deniz Akbuduns short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Kunter Cevizoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Çağlar Sabi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kunter Cevizoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honaz. The supporters of Honaz booed when Ankaragücü JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşim Akyıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Ankaragücü JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökcan İmge to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Çağlar Sabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağlar Sabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kunter Cevizoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağlar Sabi in the 53rd minute of play. Hakkı Deniz Akbudun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankaragücü JK's goalkeeper Kunter Cevizoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kunter Cevizoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Akbudun, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Honaz's Hakkı Deniz Akbudun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kunter Cevizoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Çağlar Sabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Ankaragücü JK's Adnan Özdilek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Korkut Nesil. That made the score 1-1 after 71 minutes of play. In the 76th minute, Çağlar Sabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ankaragücü JK's Gökcan İmge got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Gökcan İmge off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Ankaragücü JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökcan İmge to maneuver through the defense. Hakkı Deniz Akbudun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
