Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adnan Özdilek started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bosko Podaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Macit Kınıkaslan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adnan Özdilek went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alim Akgüneş kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Bosko Podaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kunter Cevizoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şerif Tayfun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Macit Kınıkaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Münir İlmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adnan Özdilek hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ankaragücü JK's zone, Bosko Podaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kunter Cevizoğlu came out of the goal and Bosko Podaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Bosko Podaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kunter Cevizoğlu. Bosko Podaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 45th minute, Edirnekapi's Bosko Podaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bosko Podaru was the one to do the kick off. Adnan Özdilek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Ankaragücü JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Bosko Podaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Bosko Podaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ankaragücü JK's Kunter Cevizoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Münir İlmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ankaragücü JK defense, Şerif Tayfun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kunter Cevizoğlu. The Ankaragücü JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kunter Cevizoğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Bosko Podaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Macit Kınıkaslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Özdilek in the 73rd minute of play. Kunter Cevizoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bosko Podaru in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Bosko Podaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kunter Cevizoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Münir İlmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ali Macit Kınıkaslan made a huge save. Şerif Tayfun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şerif Tayfun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Cevizoğlu having to interfere.
