Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adnan Özdilek got the match started through his kick off. Ankaragücü JK's Kunter Cevizoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Yiğitoğlu in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nizip SK defense, Adnan Özdilek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baran Alp Baysungur. The Nizip SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baran Alp Baysungur should have stopped the shot. Adnan Özdilek might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baran Alp Baysungur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adnan Özdilek ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Ongel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankaragücü JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nizip SK the free kick. Orhan Veli Ongel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ankaragücü JK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garip Baran was slow to take the kick. During this time Nizip SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nizip SK's Garip Baran to fire away a dangerous shot which Kunter Cevizoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bedri Aköz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Orhan Veli Ongel kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Kaan Yiğitoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Cevizoğlu having to interfere. Münir İlmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Baran Alp Baysungur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adnan Özdilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pekin Hakyemez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Ankaragücü JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haşim Akyıldız to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Tarkan Soysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kunter Cevizoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaan Yiğitoğlu to make the kick off. Kunter Cevizoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaan Yiğitoğlu in the 52nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ankaragücü JK's Baran Alp Baysungur threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adnan Özdilek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Nizip SK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Doğan Mecit hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü JK's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Tarkan Soysal came free, but Kunter Cevizoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nizip SK's goalkeeper Baran Alp Baysungur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Atilla Tarkan Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Nizip SK's Baran Alp Baysungur got control of the ball when Münir İlmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Münir İlmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baran Alp Baysungur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Özdilek in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nizip SK's zone, Münir İlmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baran Alp Baysungur came out of the goal and Münir İlmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ankaragücü JK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Orhan Veli Ongel hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Nizip SK's Garip Baran tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ankaragücü JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
