Recep Tayyip Ersevim started the match with the kick off. Serik's Aygün Kuter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Serik from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the game, Hakkı Kenan Kocak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NorthWest FC the free kick. The supporters of NorthWest FC booed when Serik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Kenan Kocak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aygün Kuter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuratay Işıldar went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Torbjörn Rönn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Aygün Kuter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rahmi Beycan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taci Aksoy went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 19 minutes of play, Serik's Hakkı Kenan Kocak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahmi Beycan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Burak Erandaç in the 22nd minute of play forced NorthWest FC's goalkeeper Rahmi Beycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Torbjörn Rönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Keskinel in the 29th minute of play forced Serik's goalkeeper Aygün Kuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NorthWest FC's Rahmi Beycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Tayyip Ersevim in the 31st minute of play. Torbjörn Rönn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Aygün Kuter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. NorthWest FC were furious when Iustinian Drăgoescu was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in NorthWest FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Egemen Keskinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aygün Kuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taci Aksoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rahmi Beycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Kenan Kocak in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Rönn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Torbjörn Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rahmi Beycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Burak Erandaç in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Torbjörn Rönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aygün Kuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Arif Burak Erandaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Hakkı Kenan Kocak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rahmi Beycan. The goal made the score 1-4. NorthWest FC's Rahmi Beycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Kenan Kocak in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, NorthWest FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egemen Keskinel to maneuver through the defense. Umut Ergüner charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umut Ergüner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Umut Ergüner kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, NorthWest FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egemen Keskinel to maneuver through the defense. Egemen Keskinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torbjörn Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Rönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The NorthWest FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Serik to win.
