Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Tonya's Erberk İlksen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erberk İlksen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ruhi Suyurgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Ruhi Suyurgal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tonya's Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erberk İlksen scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melik Demirbaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Memmowgrad SK's Aktaç Öksüz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Tonya got a freekick which was hit by Tansu Çiftçioğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savaş Azim in the 27th minute of play forced Tonya's goalkeeper Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruhi Suyurgal in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman saved Tonya from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Aktaç Öksüz in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 35 minutes into the game, Memmowgrad SK's Çelikan Bayraktar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Memmowgrad SK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Arif Bilge Keykavus hit a great ball. If Aktaç Öksüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ruhi Suyurgal made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çelikan Bayraktar got free with Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ruhi Suyurgal put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Vehdi Akçan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tonya's supporters rose to their feet, but Vehdi Akçan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melik Demirbaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tonya's Hüseyin Rahmi Kahraman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Tonya from getting a goal against them. Melik Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansu Çiftçioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Dündar Balkanlıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruhi Suyurgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. After 79 minutes, Tansu Çiftçioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonya and the Memmowgrad SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Tonya got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Bülent Acarbay. The supporters of Tonya booed when Memmowgrad SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serdar Baştuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Vehdi Akçan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
