In the 15th minute, Ahmet Hasan Yabgu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fenerbahçe's Ergincan Özdamar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdülhak Lütfi in the 17th minute of play. Sadettin Barbaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergincan Özdamar having to interfere. Ergincan Özdamar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadettin Barbaros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atıf Tamkut during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, A.C CengiZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atıf Tamkut to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of A.C CengiZ booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Veli Balaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Ergincan Özdamar got control of the ball when Abdülhak Lütfi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Orhan Veli Balaban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fenerbahçe were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
