Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karpuzlu's Sercan Siddik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes KARŞIYAKA got a freekick which was hit by Ziya Kani. 11 minutes into the match, Alpertunga Kartay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yıldıray Dursunali. KARŞIYAKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alpertunga Kartay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sercan Siddik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ziya Kani came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the KARŞIYAKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziya Kani couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, KARŞIYAKA's Lütfi Yaves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Acun Atikoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alpertunga Kartay in the 35th minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Yıldıray Dursunali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Sercan Siddik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sercan Siddik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Dursunali having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KARŞIYAKA's zone, Alpertunga Kartay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yıldıray Dursunali came out of the goal and Alpertunga Kartay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sercan Siddik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Alpertunga Kartay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yıldıray Dursunali. Alpertunga Kartay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Alpertunga Kartay fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 56th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After 59 minutes of play, Karpuzlu's Sercan Siddik made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yıldıray Dursunali was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sercan Siddik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yıldıray Dursunali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sercan Siddik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sercan Siddik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karpuzlu's Sercan Siddik got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alpertunga Kartay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yıldıray Dursunali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sercan Siddik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sercan Siddik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karpuzlu's Sercan Siddik got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yakup Erbay charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yakup Erbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the game, Ziya Kani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Acun Atikoğlu. Ziya Kani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sercan Siddik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karpuzlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Sercan Siddik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yıldıray Dursunali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in KARŞIYAKA's zone, Sercan Siddik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yıldıray Dursunali came out of the goal and Sercan Siddik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Karpuzlu were the better team. Karpuzlu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
