Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Güzelbahce's Gunnar Grönlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Egemen Batır made a precise shot to the right of Behram Özgenalp. Gömec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Gömec booed when Güzelbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Skaradowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güralp Hirfanlı struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Yusuf Ziya Serter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gömec. 18 minutes into the game, Sufi İlke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güzelbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gömec the free kick. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Gürsel Samih took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Behram Özgenalp to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Gömec's goalkeeper Behram Özgenalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Grönlund. In the 30th minute, Güzelbahce's Egemen Batır ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Behram Özgenalp. Behram Özgenalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Behram Özgenalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Grönlund went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Gömec's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Samih came free, but Behram Özgenalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gömec were furious when Çelik Selahaddin was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd match minute, Gömec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelik Selahaddin to maneuver through the defense. Egemen Batır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Behram Özgenalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Grönlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Behram Özgenalp came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunnar Grönlund slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Berker Zübeyir made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gömec's zone, Egemen Batır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behram Özgenalp came out of the goal and Egemen Batır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Gunnar Grönlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güzelbahce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. A collision led to Güzelbahce getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gunnar Grönlund hit a great ball. Yusuf Ziya Serter made a fabulous save on İstemihan Denizhan's shot towards the left post in the 65th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Gömec's goal looked a bit too open when Egemen Batır came free, but Behram Özgenalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Gunnar Grönlund notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Gömec's Behram Özgenalp. Behram Özgenalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Behram Özgenalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Grönlund in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Gömec's goal looked a bit too open when Egemen Batır came free, but Behram Özgenalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Batır in the 76th minute of play forced Gömec's goalkeeper Behram Özgenalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Gürsel Samih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behram Özgenalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Gunnar Grönlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 88 played minutes Güzelbahce got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Grönlund. 93 minutes into the game, Güzelbahce's Gunnar Grönlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Behram Özgenalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Grönlund in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behram Özgenalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
