After a defensive mix-up in MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's zone, Afşar Saim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamber Uzcan came out of the goal and Afşar Saim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütfü Özerk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamber Uzcan having to interfere. Sezen Karabulut lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 15th minute, one of Girmana SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Girmana SK. Girmana SK:s Başaran Delioğlu showed great skill when he stopped Batıray Talaykut:s penalty. After 20 played minutes Girmana SK got a freekick which was hit by Baykal İstanbul. 23 minutes into the match, Lütfü Özerk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamber Uzcan. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lütfü Özerk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Selim Çınar in the 26th minute of play forced Girmana SK's goalkeeper Başaran Delioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamber Uzcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfü Özerk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's Kamber Uzcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfü Özerk in the 29th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Girmana SK:s goal. After 39 played minutes Girmana SK got a freekick which was hit by Lütfü Özerk. Başaran Delioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Selim Çınar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Remzi Hisarcık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girmana SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remzi Hisarcık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamber Uzcan should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Murat Selim Çınar made the kick off in the second half. Kamber Uzcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfü Özerk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lütfü Özerk came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kamber Uzcan could save by the left post. In the 57th minute of the match Girmana SK got a corner. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afşar Saim ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Afşar Saim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's Kamber Uzcan did a great save. Lütfü Özerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kamber Uzcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lütfü Özerk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamber Uzcan having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Lütfü Özerk made a precise shot to the right of Kamber Uzcan. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Lütfü Özerk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamber Uzcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Lütfü Özerk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lütfü Özerk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kamber Uzcan made a huge save. Girmana SK were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afşar Saim took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, Remzi Hisarcık had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamber Uzcan. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remzi Hisarcık was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Girmana SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
