Rıza Tümenbay charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıza Tümenbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Tasova SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EDİRNE FC:s goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for EDİRNE FC. Behlül Vechi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Atıf Uzman. 0-1. A collision led to Tasova SK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cesur Arınç hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, EDİRNE FC's Barışcan Orak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atıf Uzman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EDİRNE FC reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Olgun Toycan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Süruri Atikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Niceto Cresencio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of EDİRNE FC's Olgun Toycan. Olgun Toycan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in EDİRNE FC's zone, Süruri Atikoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgun Toycan came out of the goal and Süruri Atikoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgun Toycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süruri Atikoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Niceto Cresencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olgun Toycan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th match minute, EDİRNE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barışcan Orak to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tasova SK fully deserved thier win.
