Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gürbüz Ağırtaş kicked off to start the match. Kutay Harmancı kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Oktay Keramettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Mertkal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gürbüz Ağırtaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gürbüz Ağırtaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tanju Şahtürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Selman İftihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kutay Harmancı fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bursa's protests and gave Kutay Harmancı a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Kutay Harmancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Özgün Öztaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgün Öztaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gürbüz Ağırtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Rize FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadir Lütfi to maneuver through the defense. Sami Mertkal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oktay Keramettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Özgün Öztaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Keramettin having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rize FK's goalkeeper Oktay Keramettin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gürbüz Ağırtaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Gürbüz Ağırtaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Bursa's goal looked a bit too open when Gürbüz Ağırtaş came free, but Selman İftihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürbüz Ağırtaş struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Selman İftihar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rize FK. Oktay Keramettin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sami Mertkal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. After 74 played minutes Rize FK got a freekick which was hit by Zülfü Çinuçin. After 78 minutes, Tanju Şahtürk made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bursa's Selman İftihar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erman Şahin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Gürbüz Ağırtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rize FK's zone, Sami Mertkal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oktay Keramettin came out of the goal and Sami Mertkal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 89 in the game by Özgün Öztaş from a close distance when the talented Oktay Keramettin managed to make a qualified save. Rize FK's players were relieved. Vehdi Batıhan lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bursa! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Rize FK. Tansu Türkoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Selman İftihar. 2-1. Selman İftihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Şahtürk in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Rize FK's Gürbüz Ağırtaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selman İftihar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rize FK fully deserved thier win.
