The audience was convinced that Işıkalp Andaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nebi Sıbgatullah was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kusadasi JK's Kerem Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Kusadasi JK from getting a goal against them. Nebi Sıbgatullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işıkalp Andaç in the 25th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Kusadasi JK got a freekick which was hit by Murat Seza. Işıkalp Andaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ergani's zone, Işıkalp Andaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nebi Sıbgatullah came out of the goal and Işıkalp Andaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Ali Orhan İncel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kusadasi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Orhan İncel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Işıkalp Andaç to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Enis Hamurcuoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerem Vuralhan. Kusadasi JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enis Hamurcuoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nebi Sıbgatullah was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Işıkalp Andaç showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Kusadasi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Seza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Işıkalp Andaç got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th minute, Işıkalp Andaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nebi Sıbgatullah was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Işıkalp Andaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agah İpekli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arif Tugay Ataergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazi Harmandalı hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ergani players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
