Çağatay Durkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gazi Zahir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Yağızhan Sayfi. Persembe JK's Gazi Zahir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Persembe JK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Adanaspor booed when Persembe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaffar Darga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilgaz Serkuts short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Gazi Zahir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Adanaspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
