Korkut Özver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Reis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Tellibaba JK's Savaş Torgay got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Karaköy JK defense, Ali Haydar Hisar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korkut Özver. The Karaköy JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korkut Özver should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Korkut Özver was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Joaquim Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Tellibaba JK's Turan Tugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birkan Koçyiğit in the 60th minute of play. The corner led Tellibaba JK's Alparslan Suavi to fire away a dangerous shot which Korkut Özver despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özgün İlican in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turan Tugay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karaköy JK's Birkan Koçyiğit got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Savaş Torgay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Karaköy JK defense, Joaquim Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korkut Özver. The Karaköy JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korkut Özver should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Tellibaba JK's Ali Haydar Hisar got a free kick in the 75th minute. Joaquim Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Korkut Özver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tellibaba JK's zone, Birkan Koçyiğit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turan Tugay came out of the goal and Birkan Koçyiğit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Tellibaba JK. Joaquim Reis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Korkut Özver. 0-4. Birkan Koçyiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Tugay having to interfere. Joaquim Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tellibaba JK booed when Karaköy JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paşa Ali Tunçkılıç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tellibaba JK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
