Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dursun Günden in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behiç Tumbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Alemdar Okcun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kadri Çinucen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Behiç Tumbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Günden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kadir Özkent came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Zonguldakspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kadir Özkent couldn't finish the play. Uğur Eryiğit kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match İzzettin Kaçan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Behiç Tumbay skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th match minute, Zonguldakspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bulut Polat to maneuver through the defense. Alapli SK's Gökhan Tezer got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gökhan Tezer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alapli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökhan Tezer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alemdar Okcun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kadir Özkent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Behiç Tumbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dursun Günden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alemdar Okcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökhan Tezer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
