The audience thought a goal was coming when Giray Bardakçıoğlu got free with Şehzade Usluer in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, ALADAĞLAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür Özen to maneuver through the defense. Günalp Kuyas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şehzade Usluer. Şehzade Usluer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 38 minutes, Giray Bardakçıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahinbey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giray Bardakçıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özen in the 44th minute of play forced Sahinbey's goalkeeper Arslan Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Nurkan Kurtuluş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALADAĞLAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sahinbey the free kick. The supporters of Sahinbey booed when ALADAĞLAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurkan Kurtuluş didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Cumhur Onultan to make the kick off.
