The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seyfettin Öz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadettin İltay in the 3rd minute of the match. Oğuzalp Sehhar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Seyfettin Öz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Anadolu GFK's Ahmet Haşim Tunalı got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sadettin İltay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Seyfettin Öz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfettin Öz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzalp Sehhar's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Oğuzalp Sehhar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Seyfettin Öz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Haymana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durmuş Özen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Oğuzalp Sehhar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batıkan Avşar got free with Seyfettin Öz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eşref Dokuzoğlu in the 25th minute of play forced Anadolu GFK's goalkeeper Erman Sedat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haymana's Seyfettin Öz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Haymana from getting a goal against them. Batıkan Avşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sadettin İltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Sadettin İltay took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Seyfettin Öz to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durmuş Özen to make the kick off. Eşref Dokuzoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Batıkan Avşar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Seyfettin Öz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Halil İbrahim Toran hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Oğuzalp Sehhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sadettin İltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Müjdat Akyel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Seyfettin Öz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eşref Dokuzoğlu couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Anadolu GFK's Erman Sedat got control of the ball when Eşref Dokuzoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Anadolu GFK were the better team. Anadolu GFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
