After 3 played minutes Bornova JK got a freekick which was hit by Talat Ümran. If Boğaçhan Onursan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semih Şensal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yücel Kalhan having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bornova JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kıraç Özdoğal came free, but Abdullah Dalmaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semih Şensal kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 25thth minute. Though ot was a great shot BAYRAMPAŞA SK's keeper Yücel Kalhan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 32nd minute Boğaçhan Onursan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yücel Kalhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semih Şensal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Yücel Kalhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semih Şensal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yücel Kalhan having to interfere. Gencay Onay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Kıraç Özdoğal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Dalmaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alim Ülgen lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 46 played minutes Bornova JK got a freekick which was hit by Alim Ülgen. After the first half BAYRAMPAŞA SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Semih Şensal made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bornova JK got a freekick which was hit by Talat Ümran. Zülfü Şabi scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdullah Dalmaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdullah Dalmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Anıl Taze in the 58th minute of play. Talat Ümran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yücel Kalhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BAYRAMPAŞA SK's goalkeeper Yücel Kalhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Semih Şensal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yücel Kalhan having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Talat Ümran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Gencay Onay notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BAYRAMPAŞA SK's Yücel Kalhan. Yücel Kalhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yücel Kalhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencay Onay in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, BAYRAMPAŞA SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kıraç Akbatu came free, but Yücel Kalhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gencay Onay in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yücel Kalhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BAYRAMPAŞA SK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Baturalp Kayıhan hit a great ball. Kıraç Akbatu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Semih Şensal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdullah Dalmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kıraç Özdoğal in the 86th minute of play. Yücel Kalhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semih Şensal in the 89th minute of the match. If Gencay Onay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Bornova JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kıraç Özdoğal came free, but Abdullah Dalmaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Kıraç Özdoğal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdullah Dalmaz, 1-3. The Bornova JK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing BAYRAMPAŞA SK to win.
