The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Derinkuyu! When Bora Çelikyay came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Nakree United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bora Çelikyay couldn't finish the play. Dilmen Derdiyok took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şerafettin Seyran. Nakree United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Derinkuyu booed when Nakree United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacit Hasret didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Derinkuyu's Boran Davarcı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şerafettin Seyran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Derinkuyu reached it. Şerafettin Seyran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songur Ülkü in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute Songur Ülkü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerafettin Seyran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bektaş Kambay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şerafettin Seyran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songur Ülkü in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Murat Özbas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şerafettin Seyran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songur Ülkü in the 27th minute of play forced Nakree United FC's goalkeeper Şerafettin Seyran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enver Mazhar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necdet Karahan in the 29th minute of the match. Kamber Mülayim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Enver Mazhar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bora Çelikyay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enver Mazhar firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Derinkuyu's Enver Mazhar got control of the ball when Kamber Mülayim tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baykal Reşan made a kick off. Kenan Tezel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Enver Mazhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Çelikyay in the 61st minute of play forced Derinkuyu's goalkeeper Enver Mazhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enver Mazhar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamber Mülayim's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Bora Çelikyay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Enver Mazhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game Abdi Saygın Süvari got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a little luck, Nakree United FC's Şerafettin Seyran got control of the ball when Songur Ülkü tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Çağrı Veysel put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Derinkuyu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nakree United FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Çelikyay in the 85th minute of play forced Derinkuyu's goalkeeper Enver Mazhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Özkan İsrafil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derinkuyu and the Nakree United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, İzzet Hadim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bora Çelikyay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
