Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) Malatya's Nejat Alp İhya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazım Zişan in the 3rd minute of play. Hakkı Devrim Tokuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Alp İhya having to interfere. Macit Kalhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zonguldakspor JK's Nazım Zişan got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakkı Devrim Tokuş in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nejat Alp İhya saved Malatya from getting behind. If Hakkı Devrim Tokuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nejat Alp İhya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazım Zişan in the 34th minute of play. Nejat Alp İhya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Devrim Tokuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Nazım Zişan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakkı Devrim Tokuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hakkı Devrim Tokuş had several of the Malatya's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Nejat Alp İhya as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nejat Alp İhya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Zişan in the 58th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Malatya got a freekick which was hit by Tuncer Gürler. Nejat Alp İhya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazım Zişan in the 61st minute. Nazım Zişan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hakkı Devrim Tokuş in the 69th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nejat Alp İhya kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zonguldakspor JK's goalkeeper Turgut Özyurt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kılıç Haliloğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Malatya's Macit Kalhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgut Özyurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nejat Alp İhya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazım Zişan went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute Hakkı Devrim Tokuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Alp İhya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Malatya fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zonguldakspor JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
