Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruhi Dinç got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Halkali JK's goal looked a bit too open when Mauritz Nørreklit came free, but Uluç Timurhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauritz Nørreklit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uluç Timurhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Galatasaray's Mirkelam Özgurel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray from getting a goal against them. Uluç Timurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauritz Nørreklit in the 13th minute of play. Şerif Onal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Uluç Timurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Aytek Ersan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halkali JK's Gürel Ulvi pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 20 minutes, Şerif Onal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Halkali JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Onal to maneuver through the defense. Uluç Timurhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauritz Nørreklit went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mehmet Baykoca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirkelam Özgurel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauritz Nørreklit in the 34th minute of play forced Halkali JK's goalkeeper Uluç Timurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerif Onal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uluç Timurhan having to interfere. In the 39th minute, one of Halkali JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Halkali JK. When Şerif Onal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şerif Onal couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Yüksel Tekindağ put in a rough tackle. In the 45th minute, one of Halkali JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Halkali JK. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Şerif Onal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uluç Timurhan having to interfere. Uluç Timurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerif Onal in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Halkali JK's goalkeeper Uluç Timurhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şerif Onal. Şerif Onal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Halkali JK got a freekick which was hit by Battal Cüneyt Kenan. Battal Cüneyt Kenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th play minute Şerif Onal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Uluç Timurhan. 0-7. In the 78th minute Mauritz Nørreklit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uluç Timurhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauritz Nørreklit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Aytek Ersan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halkali JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray the free kick. Şerif Onal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Uluç Timurhan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90thth minute of the game Mauritz Nørreklit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halkali JK's Uluç Timurhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şerif Onal in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uluç Timurhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 played minutes Halkali JK got a freekick which was hit by Aytek Ersan. If Şerif Onal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Mauritz Nørreklit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauritz Nørreklit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
