Ali Baran Hirfanlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kahraman Otaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Karatay fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Karatay's Muammer Sabeddin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, Kadir Yankı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhan Taif in the 19th minute of play forced Kemah's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Yoruç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karatay's zone, Ali Baran Hirfanlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Otaç came out of the goal and Ali Baran Hirfanlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Karatay's İlhan Taif dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Karatay's zone, Ali Erdem Kortan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kahraman Otaç came out of the goal and Ali Erdem Kortan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Erdem Kortan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kemah's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Yoruç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arkın Çağlar's late challenge caught a Karatay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arkın Çağlar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Karatay booed when Kemah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkın Çağlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muammer Sabeddin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İlhan Taif to make the kick off. Karatay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Ali Erdem Kortan scored to the left of an out of position Kahraman Otaç, making the score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ali Baran Hirfanlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemah's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Baran Hirfanlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kahraman Otaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 99 minutes into the match, Ali Erdem Kortan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kahraman Otaç, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
