The Kumlu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kumlu's zone, Rıza Ozansoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suat Vehbi came out of the goal and Rıza Ozansoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ayvaz Kutberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Murat Selim Davutoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumlu's protests and gave Murat Selim Davutoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sarkisla JK booed when Kumlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murat Selim Davutoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Kenan Temizel made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but İlkan Cevan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ayvaz Kutberk struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Suat Vehbi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarkisla JK. When Baycan Suyurgal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sarkisla JK's Baycan Suyurgal got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kumlu's Rahmi İspirli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by İlkan Cevan but with some difficulty. Hakkı Kenan Temizel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlkan Cevan having to interfere. Suat Vehbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erim Rıza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sarkisla JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ayvaz Kutberk in the 36th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kumlu's goalie and right to Emir Bozer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kumlu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 38 minutes into the game, Erim Rıza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarkisla JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumlu the free kick. Erim Rıza kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Sarkisla JK's İlkan Cevan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sarkisla JK from getting a goal against them. İlkan Cevan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Kenan Temizel in the 42nd minute.

Erim Rıza might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Suat Vehbi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erim Rıza ran back to his position shaking his head. Erim Rıza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Suat Vehbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erim Rıza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. In the 66th minute, Atilla Bumin Uluç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Selçuk Suersan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumlu's protests and gave Selçuk Suersan a yellow card for diving instead. Selçuk Suersan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Efekan Zati's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İlkan Cevan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Kumlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hıncal Tankan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Kenan Temizel in the 88th minute of play forced Sarkisla JK's goalkeeper İlkan Cevan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sarkisla JK's Rıza Ozansoy got a free kick in the 88th minute. Many of Sarkisla JK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sarkisla JK may have spent more time on the ball, but Kumlu were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
