In the 3rd minute Şevket Sulasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Köksan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, BeşiktaşJK's Akşemseddin Tüzünalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Ziya Köksan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Ziya Köksan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şevket Sulasi in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Şevket Sulasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ziya Köksan. Konya JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şevket Sulasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Konya JK's Ahmet Ziya Köksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Sulasi in the 18th minute of play. Ahmet Ziya Köksan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akşemseddin Tüzünalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Konya JK's goal looked a bit too open when Akşemseddin Tüzünalp came free, but Ahmet Ziya Köksan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koray Üngörmüş kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Akşemseddin Tüzünalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BeşiktaşJK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akşemseddin Tüzünalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, BeşiktaşJK's Şevket Sulasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Ziya Köksan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With an all-out effort, Konya JK's Erdi Öztekin threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Utku Darga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmet Ziya Köksan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akşemseddin Tüzünalp in the 37th minute of play. Akşemseddin Tüzünalp struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ahmet Ziya Köksan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BeşiktaşJK. 41 minutes into the match, Akşemseddin Tüzünalp notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Konya JK's Ahmet Ziya Köksan. Ahmet Ziya Köksan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şevket Sulasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Ziya Köksan having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Akşemseddin Tüzünalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Ahmet Ziya Köksan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Akşemseddin Tüzünalp in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Konya JK's Ahmet Ziya Köksan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Konya JK from getting a goal against them. Gündüz Timurtas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Kamber Şahsuvar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erdi Öztekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birdal İrfanoğlu in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Konya JK defense, Şevket Sulasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ziya Köksan. The Konya JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ziya Köksan should have stopped the shot. BeşiktaşJK played a much better game than Konya JK and deserved their victory. The Konya JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
