Galip Sağan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korhan Kiyas in the 28th minute of the match. When Korhan Kiyas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Veysel Semail was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Veysel Semail was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araban's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GaLaTaSaRaY the free kick. After 51 played minutes Araban got a freekick which was hit by Veysel Semail. Yahya Azimli kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Korhan Kiyas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Galip Sağan made a huge save. GaLaTaSaRaY's Galip Sağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veysel Semail in the 60th minute of play. Galip Sağan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Korhan Kiyas sent off a good shot on target. Kuddusî Talaykut hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Korhan Kiyas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GaLaTaSaRaY's Galip Sağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veysel Semail in the 78th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Recai Özbilge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araban's Raşit Tahsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raşit Tahsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recai Özbilge in the 89th minute of the match. Mithat Özgeer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Raşit Tahsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Recai Özbilge in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raşit Tahsin saved Araban from getting behind. If Recai Özbilge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuddusî Talaykut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
