Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Tuncer Bircan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENERBAHÇE's protests and gave Tuncer Bircan a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Tuncer Bircan. 9 minutes into the match, Korhan Kiyas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İrfan Erşahin. FENERBAHÇE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korhan Kiyas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Alemdar Bala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Alemdar Bala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raşit Tahsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. İrfan Erşahin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veysel Semail's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Korhan Kiyas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. İrfan Erşahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Müfit Kamver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müfit Kamver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Veysel Semail came free, but İrfan Erşahin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After having played for 52 minutes, Alemdar Bala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araban's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Berke Karadeniz scored to the left of an out of position Raşit Tahsin, making the score, 3-3. In the 84th minute, Tuncer Bircan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İrfan Erşahin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veysel Semail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE's zone, Korhan Kiyas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İrfan Erşahin came out of the goal and Korhan Kiyas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Müfit Kamver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes, Ali Numan Kaptan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHÇE and the Araban players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Numan Kaptan to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Sefa İmamoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
