But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halis Erşahin couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Halis Erşahin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bahadır Doğangün. In the 40th minute İslam Akbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytuğ Toydemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes, Tünel's Rüştü Mazhar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bahadır Doğangün came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tünel reached it.

Aytuğ Toydemir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İslam Akbal's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Halis Erşahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tünel's zone, Ceyhun Şenalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytuğ Toydemir came out of the goal and Ceyhun Şenalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halis Erşahin in the 80th minute of play forced Akcakent JK's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğangün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Akcakent JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin came free, but Bahadır Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahadır Doğangün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egemen Özekan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Akcakent JK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bahadır Emiroğlu hit a great ball. Ceyhun Şenalp was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Akcakent JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
