But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batıray Temur couldn't finish the play. Cemalettin Zaik charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cemalettin Zaik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sefaköy booed when Birecik JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemalettin Zaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Batıray Temur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıray Temur scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mevlüt Er, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdurrahim Yaltır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Erdal Ağaoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bayındır Mehmet Paşa. Erdal Ağaoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 31st minute, Erdal Ağaoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batıray Temur in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mevlüt Er saved Birecik JK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıray Temur in the 43rd minute of play forced Birecik JK's goalkeeper Mevlüt Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Sefaköy's Batıray Temur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mevlüt Er made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armağan Atlıoğlu in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mevlüt Er prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birecik JK's goalkeeper Mevlüt Er, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Birecik JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sefaköy's performance. The match ended with a win for Sefaköy.
