The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Suhut SK's zone, Ali Cafer Kongur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ersan Tunçkaya came out of the goal and Ali Cafer Kongur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ali Cafer Kongur hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s goalkeeper Wilson de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Özge. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Mitch Knightley put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ersan Tunçkaya. After 12 minutes, Ali Cafer Kongur made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Suhut SK's Ersan Tunçkaya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ersan Tunçkaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitch Knightley went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Wilson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudret Enginer in the 21st minute of play. When Abayhan İlyas fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suhut SK's protests and gave Abayhan İlyas a yellow card for diving instead. Ersan Tunçkaya came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s Mitch Knightley. But to his dismay, Mitch Knightley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ali Cafer Kongur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ersan Tunçkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Suhut SK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kudret Enginer hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Ali Cafer Kongur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cafer Kongur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Ali Cafer Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersan Tunçkaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s Mitch Knightley in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suhut SK's goalie prevented a goal. Ersan Tunçkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Cafer Kongur in the 40th minute of the match. The ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽ fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s Ali Cafer Kongur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akil Atasoy made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Necmi Çetinsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Özge in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafer Perkel in the 65th minute of play forced ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s goalkeeper Wilson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Suhut SK's Ersan Tunçkaya got control of the ball when Mitch Knightley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ersan Tunçkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Kongur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Akil Atasoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Wilson de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Habib Özge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Wilson de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Suhut SK booed when ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serkan İpek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitch Knightley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ersan Tunçkaya made a huge save. The Suhut SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽'s performance. The match ended with a win for ☾☆AYYILDIZ☆☽.
