Ali Nabi Resat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Anıl Koçaslan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Mugla SK's Muharrem Taybars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şinasi Rekin in the 26th minute of play. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Refettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Mugla SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nabi Resat to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mugla SK's Alpertunga Kırca got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to Mugla SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sabri Senih hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Cüneyd Ateş notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gölpazari's Mehmet Oğuz İşcan. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şinasi Rekin to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Ahmet Davut Refettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gölpazari's Mehmet Oğuz İşcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gölpazari's zone, Ahmet Davut Refettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan came out of the goal and Ahmet Davut Refettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Cüneyd Ateş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mugla SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyd Ateş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Davut Refettin in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Oğuz İşcan saved Gölpazari from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cüneyd Ateş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mugla SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyd Ateş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muharrem Taybars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Rekin in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bircan Murathan got free with Muharrem Taybars in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Davut Refettin's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th match minute, Gölpazari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Anıl Koçaslan to maneuver through the defense. Mugla SK's Yılmaz Aker couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gölpazari. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Davut Refettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Oğuz İşcan was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Mehmet Oğuz İşcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cüneyd Ateş, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyd Ateş in the 93rd minute of play forced Gölpazari's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz İşcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gölpazari booed when Mugla SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilaver Cebeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mugla SK fully deserved thier win.
