Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Søreide ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Søreide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Babür As made a huge save. Slavcho Vútev came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Çiçekdağı SK's Ali Asım Akarsu. But to his dismay, Ali Asım Akarsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Mustafa Emre Varol fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yahyali's protests and gave Mustafa Emre Varol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yahyali getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mustafa Emre Varol hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Yetkiner Özdurdu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çiçekdağı SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hacı Eskici charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hacı Eskici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Yahyali got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Eskici. After 37 played minutes Alexander Søreide rounded Çiçekdağı SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After having played for 44 minutes, Erdi Saltar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yahyali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdi Saltar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Barış Geylanlar made a kick off. Velimir Karev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Geylanlar in the 60th minute of play forced Yahyali's goalkeeper Slavcho Vútev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Yahyali's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Geylanlar came free, but Slavcho Vútev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Søreide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erdi Saltar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babür As showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Søreide in the 70th minute of the match. Slavcho Vútev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Geylanlar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Søreide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Erdi Saltar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babür As showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Søreide in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Alexander Søreide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babür As saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erdi Saltar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdi Saltar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babür As having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Yahyali's Alexander Søreide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Babür As made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yahyali players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
