Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Halim Müjdat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuratay Zühtü having to interfere. After 6 played minutes ŞANLIURFA got a freekick which was hit by Emrah Akıncıbeyoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kıraç Lefter in the 8th minute of play forced ŞANLIURFA's goalkeeper Nuratay Zühtü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kıraç Lefter scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuratay Zühtü, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilla Urkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kıraç Lefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halim Müjdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kıraç Lefter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuratay Zühtü having to make a save. After 28 minutes, Erman Şahbaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tortum and the ŞANLIURFA players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Tortum's Behçet Enfa got control of the ball when Hakkı Şahinoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Kemalettin Orcan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ŞANLIURFA's Nuratay Zühtü did a great save. Nuratay Zühtü stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halim Müjdat's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. ŞANLIURFA's Hakkı Şahinoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ŞANLIURFA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dilmen Pamiroğlu hit a great ball. Kemalettin Orcan shot a long shot in the 48th minute and a light blocked Nuratay Zühtü hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilla Urkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Tortum got a freekick which was hit by Namık Tülek. The supporters of ŞANLIURFA booed when Tortum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erman Şahbaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behçet Enfa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Urkan in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Atilla Urkan made a precise shot to the right of Behçet Enfa. Tortum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 70th minute, Kıraç Lefter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Halim Müjdat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Nuratay Zühtü was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Halim Müjdat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Halim Müjdat in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuratay Zühtü, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Savaşer Talik hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Kıraç Lefter might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuratay Zühtü. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kıraç Lefter ran back to his position shaking his head. Tortum played a much better game than ŞANLIURFA and deserved their victory. The ŞANLIURFA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
