Beşiktaş's Akil Konguralp got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when Wise Owl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Ulutan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beşiktaş's Samet Uruç couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wise Owl FC. After a defensive mix-up in Wise Owl FC's zone, Akil Konguralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Hamdi Balbay came out of the goal and Akil Konguralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Wise Owl FC's goalkeeper Mehmet Hamdi Balbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akil Konguralp. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Köksal Özgan to strike the kick off in the second half. If Köksal Özgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Köksal Özgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wise Owl FC's zone, Köksal Özgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Hamdi Balbay came out of the goal and Köksal Özgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Akil Konguralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akil Konguralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Köksal Özgan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Hamdi Balbay. Mehmet Hamdi Balbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Göksel Ortanca kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Necmi Ekemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ataman Keykavus hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Ahmet Korkut Safih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Köksal Özgan came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Köksal Özgan couldn't finish the play. Akil Konguralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mehmet Hamdi Balbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Hamdi Balbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Köksal Özgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Köksal Özgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hamdi Balbay having to interfere. Wise Owl FC's Mehmet Hamdi Balbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Köksal Özgan in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Göksel Ortanca hit a great ball. After 91 minutes Wise Owl FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samet Uruç who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Samet Uruç got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Hamdi Balbay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Akil Konguralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when Wise Owl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ata Şavat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's Samet Uruç broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. There was no doubt that Beşiktaş were the better team. Beşiktaş's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
