Dinç Kocakalp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cevdet Tanalp. Buca JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Urritz Cabuerniga sped through Tokat SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Barış Tefhim. 17 minutes into the game, Buca JK's Urritz Cabuerniga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Barış Tefhim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urritz Cabuerniga in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Barış Tefhim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Barış Tefhim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murathan Vacit, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Hayrettin Piruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mustafa Barış Tefhim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ahmet Seyfi Evirgen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Buca JK's Cevdet Tanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Bilgin in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Tokat SK's Erdinç Öztanır dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 47th minute Urritz Cabuerniga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Tefhim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erdinç Öztanır to make the kick off. In the 85th minute of the match Dinç Kocakalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cevdet Tanalp skillfully saved the ball. Cevdet Tanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdinç Öztanır in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Buca JK got a freekick which was hit by Akşemseddin Uluçkan. The Buca JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
