Songur Azimli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayyam Konuralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Serinhisar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hayyam Konuralp came free, but Songur Azimli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Songur Azimli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayyam Konuralp in the 12th minute of the match. Sebati Timuroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Songur Azimli made a huge save. In the 19th minute Okan Necat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hikmet Aybar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayrettin Eralkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes of play, Ispir JK's Çetin Bozoğlu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Songur Azimli was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Serinhisar SK's Songur Azimli got control of the ball when Sebati Timuroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Okan Necat put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hikmet Aybar. Serinhisar SK's Hayrettin Eralkan got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Ispir JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayyam Konuralp to maneuver through the defense. Orhan Veli Güngör received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hikmet Aybar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ispir JK's Hikmet Aybar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Eralkan in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Dinçer Gencal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serinhisar SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ispir JK the free kick. The supporters of Ispir JK booed when Serinhisar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Gencal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behçet Timurtas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serinhisar SK's Songur Azimli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Serinhisar SK from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okan Necat to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hayrettin Eralkan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hikmet Aybar, passed just outside the right post. Çetin Bozoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çetin Bozoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Çetin Bozoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ispir JK's Hayyam Konuralp got a free kick in the 54th minute. Hikmet Aybar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okan Necat in the 59th minute. Okan Necat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hikmet Aybar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Okan Necat got free with Hikmet Aybar in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebati Timuroz scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Songur Azimli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serinhisar SK's Songur Azimli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behçet Timurtas in the 73rd minute of play. Orhan Veli Güngör was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Dinçer Gencal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ispir JK's goalkeeper Hikmet Aybar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Serinhisar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Bozoğlu came free, but Songur Azimli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Behçet Timurtas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songur Azimli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serinhisar SK were furious when Duman Albay was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 93 minutes into the game, one of Serinhisar SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
