After a defensive mix-up in Ordu's zone, Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 15 played minutes, Ödemis SK's Tuncer Özhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Halit Fahri Beyhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ödemis SK reached it. Halit Fahri Beyhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih Malgır in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Mustafa Barkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Halit Fahri Beyhan skillfully saved the ball. Necmi Ekici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atıf Işınbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 minutes, Gökçen Eke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ödemis SK and the Ordu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ordu booed when Ödemis SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Eke didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ödemis SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cengiz Dahi hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Şamil Uçkun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Necmi Ekici saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordu's Halit Fahri Beyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Fahri Beyhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Necmi Ekici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şamil Uçkun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mehmet Ediz Aydoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fatih Malgır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Halit Fahri Beyhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fatih Malgır hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Ahmet Tolga Tura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Necmi Ekici was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 76th match minute, Ödemis SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Barkan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Fatih Malgır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ödemis SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fatih Malgır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Malgır in the 82nd minute of play forced Ordu's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Beyhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ordu's goal looked a bit too open when Fatih Malgır came free, but Halit Fahri Beyhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ordu booed when Ödemis SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Eke didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atıf Işınbay in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necmi Ekici saved Ödemis SK from getting behind. Halit Fahri Beyhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.
