In the 4th minute, one of AS Roma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AS Roma. Ali Faruk Daman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oran's Battal Yaltıray got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Birkan Yalçıner fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Roma's protests and gave Birkan Yalçıner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, İsrafil Uzbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alpay Ökmen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Battal Yaltıray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Songurbey Bengi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercan Acar's late challenge caught a Oran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercan Acar helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AS Roma! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Oran. Bayhan Yakup stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Songurbey Bengi. 0-2. Savaşer Öztunç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Ömür Dolunay hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Battal Yaltıray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Roma's Songurbey Bengi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Oran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Memduh Ereken to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AS Roma defense, Battal Yaltıray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songurbey Bengi. The AS Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songurbey Bengi should have stopped the shot.

A collision led to Oran getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Arif Memduh Ereken hit a great ball. When Savaşer Öztunç came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the AS Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savaşer Öztunç couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsrafil Uzbay got free with Songurbey Bengi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AS Roma's Birkan Yalçıner got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Birkan Yalçıner off the ground. Birkan Yalçıner hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AS Roma's zone, İsrafil Uzbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songurbey Bengi came out of the goal and İsrafil Uzbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Songurbey Bengi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Songurbey Bengi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Songurbey Bengi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Yaltıray in the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Ahmet Ömür Dolunay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ömür Dolunay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Battal Yaltıray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, AS Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpay Ökmen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AS Roma's Savaşer Öztunç got a free kick in the 98th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Oran's Bayhan Yakup tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Oran left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AS Roma.
