The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feyyaz Suni took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yenal Gence. Yenal Gence dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for AS Roma. Ercan Acar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yenal Gence. 3-3. Songurbey Bengi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azim Yücetekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zülfü Başbuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Bengi having to interfere. The supporters of Osmangazi JK booed when AS Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpay Ökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Songurbey Bengi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AS Roma booed when Osmangazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Arif Erbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Feyyaz Suni came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the AS Roma fans jumped to their feet. AS Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
