The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Boran Erbay in the 5th minute of play forced Varto JK's goalkeeper Yavuz Selim Cevval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Akif Talu hit a great ball. Çağatay Rafizs short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Şimşek Ozansoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Çağatay Rafiz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Şimşek Ozansoy. The crowd rose to their feet as Varto JK's Çağatay Rafiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şimşek Ozansoy. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Çağatay Rafiz put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Şimşek Ozansoy. Çağatay Rafiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Şimşek Ozansoy made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Ali Çağrı Filiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Şimşek Ozansoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merih Erbelgin. In the 33rd minute of the match, Çağatay Rafiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şimşek Ozansoy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ali Faruk Mukbil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Şimşek Ozansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Ozansoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağatay Rafiz in the 36th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, FC BARCELONA's Mehdi Ergalip shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yavuz Selim Cevval came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC BARCELONA reached it. Şimşek Ozansoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağatay Rafiz in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çağatay Rafiz made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC BARCELONA! The audience thought a goal was coming when Mürsel Özgurcan got free with Yavuz Selim Cevval in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Çağatay Rafiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çağatay Rafiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şimşek Ozansoy having to make a save. Varto JK's attentive Merih Erbelgin managed to snatch the ball when Mehmet Bedri Dilazad made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. After 74 minutes, Çağatay Rafiz made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC BARCELONA's Şimşek Ozansoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Şimşek Ozansoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağatay Rafiz's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Çağatay Rafiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ali Faruk Mukbil put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Şimşek Ozansoy. Ali Faruk Mukbil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Şimşek Ozansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Varto JK's Ali Faruk Mukbil got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97thth minute of the game Ali Faruk Mukbil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BARCELONA's Şimşek Ozansoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute, Çağatay Rafiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şimşek Ozansoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Varto JK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
