Şimşek Ozansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfettin Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfettin Merdan in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şimşek Ozansoy saved FC BARCELONA from getting behind. Seyfettin Merdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mürsel Özgurcan got free with Güvenç Sayraç in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Seyfettin Merdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şimşek Ozansoy. FC BARCELONA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seyfettin Merdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kutlu Akartuna hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Kutlu Akartuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şimşek Ozansoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyfettin Merdan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Şimşek Ozansoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Güray Torehan came free, but Şimşek Ozansoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyfettin Merdan in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şimşek Ozansoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seyfettin Merdan made a kick off. Seyfettin Merdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC BARCELONA's Şimşek Ozansoy got control of the ball when Güray Torehan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Seyfettin Merdan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şimşek Ozansoy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Güray Torehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Seyfettin Merdan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şimşek Ozansoy, 0-2. When Güray Torehan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bulanik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güray Torehan couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfettin Merdan came free, but Şimşek Ozansoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güray Torehan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Şimşek Ozansoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Seyfettin Merdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulanik's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyfettin Merdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şimşek Ozansoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th match minute, Bulanik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlu Akartuna to maneuver through the defense. FC BARCELONA's Aysan Sarih couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bulanik.
