An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Buğra Türcan in the 16th minute of play forced çağdaş's goalkeeper Abdi Zeki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Asım Arif Remiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Kartal Şükran in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by çağdaş's Taci Süleyman. In the 24th minute Arif Buğra Türcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Zeki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of çağdaş booed when Gökceada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Özdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alim Özyurt charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alim Özyurt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in çağdaş fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Kartal Şükran made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by çağdaş's Taci Süleyman. A sloppy throw-in by Sinan Çimen in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gökceada's Nejat Özdemir. Abdi Zeki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Buğra Türcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Abdi Zeki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturay Ünalp in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Arif Buğra Türcan rounded çağdaş's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Şadi Nasih scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdi Zeki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in çağdaş's zone, Şadi Nasih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdi Zeki came out of the goal and Şadi Nasih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Buğra Türcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Zeki having to interfere. After some careless play in the çağdaş defense, Baturay Ünalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdi Zeki. The çağdaş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdi Zeki should have stopped the shot. Arif Buğra Türcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Aykan Sara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Zeki came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Gökceada's Arif Buğra Türcan. But to his dismay, Arif Buğra Türcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that İsmail Karadağ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rasim Mukaddes was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Buğra Türcan in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdi Zeki saved çağdaş from getting behind. When Asım Arif Remiz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the çağdaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asım Arif Remiz couldn't finish the play. If Arif Buğra Türcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Gökceada's goalkeeper Rasim Mukaddes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asım Arif Remiz. Gökceada's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
