Ali Emir Akar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray Aş. In the 43rd minute, Melih Hilal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Aş's Nazım Demiralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Emir Akar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fazlı Ispartalı was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Fazlı Ispartalı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ali Emir Akar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Emir Akar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Demiralp in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Galatasaray Aş booed when Yenice SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halis Seçkiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Emir Akar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuh Uğuray made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ufuk Yaybüke sent off a good shot on target. Fazlı Ispartalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ali Emir Akar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Emir Akar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Tuncaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Emir Akar came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray Aş's Alexander Algoedt. But to his dismay, Alexander Algoedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Yenice SK's zone, Fazlı Ispartalı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Emir Akar came out of the goal and Fazlı Ispartalı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fazlı Ispartalı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray Aş's supporters rose to their feet, but Fazlı Ispartalı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
