Dursun Ali Tarkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. İlhan Cevahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İlhan Cevahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktuğ Kuntman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Göktuğ Kuntman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Akgün Çırak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tuzla FK booed when Edirne JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cüneyt Salikbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göktuğ Kuntman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, İlhan Cevahir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Cüneyt Salikbey fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edirne JK's protests and gave Cüneyt Salikbey a yellow card for diving instead. Cüneyt Salikbey kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Edirne JK booed when Tuzla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ata Özge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cüneyt Salikbey made the kick off in the second half. Songurhan Durkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eyüp Çile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göktuğ Kuntman struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. İlhan Cevahir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuzla FK. When Cüneyt Salikbey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, Edirne JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cüneyt Salikbey to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Dursun Ali Tarkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tuzla FK's Gürhan Akmaner got control of the ball when Akgün Çırak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Yaşar Serafet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlhan Cevahir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. İlhan Cevahir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dursun Ali Tarkan's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Akgün Çırak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dursun Ali Tarkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuzla FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dursun Ali Tarkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlhan Cevahir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Songurhan Durkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
