With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gencalp Erkılınç in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaptan Nevruz saved Yalvac from getting behind. Fikret Samih took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdulbaki İhsan. Bursaspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 23 minutes, Hakan Ünlüol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalvac and the Bursaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Yalvac got a freekick which was hit by Hakan Ünlüol. Bursaspor's Abdulbaki İhsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esen Safvet in the 31st minute of play. Yalvac's Ataol Kürşat got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erkut Zekai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kaptan Nevruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akgün Samet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Bursaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mazhar Derviş. In the 59th minute of the match Bayındır Mehmet Özerkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulbaki İhsan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bursaspor's zone, Ataol Kürşat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulbaki İhsan came out of the goal and Ataol Kürşat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erkut Zekai hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Erkut Zekai sped through Yalvac's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaptan Nevruz. In the 73rd minute, Bursaspor's Akgün Samet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaptan Nevruz. Kaptan Nevruz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When Bursaspor's Akgün Samet in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yalvac's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Akgün Samet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalvac's Kaptan Nevruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Yalvac defense, Erkut Zekai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaptan Nevruz. The Yalvac fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaptan Nevruz should have stopped the shot. Akgün Samet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Esen Safvet made a precise shot to the right of Abdulbaki İhsan. Bursaspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Bursaspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yalvac.
