With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gani Uzkan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdullah Sabih saved KAYSERİ SPOR from getting behind. In the 26th minute of the match Ayhan Fırıncı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdullah Sabih showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Olgun Fırat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAYSERİ SPOR and the Elazig players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yusuf Bahadır Zaid to make the kick off. Abdullah Sabih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhan Sidar in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Sabahattin Sonat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The crowd rose to their feet as Elazig's Ceyhan Sidar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdullah Sabih. That made the score 2-2 after 96 minutes of play. Despite being the better team, Elazig failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
