The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edip Yalazalp during the 11th minute. Resadiye's Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdulhamit Onatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeki Turan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Muammer Şahap came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Güzelyurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muammer Şahap couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes Resadiye got a freekick which was hit by Arif Cengiz Şemseddin. Akay Akyazıcıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Afşar Ayıkoğlu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Resadiye's Arif Cengiz Şemseddin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Muammer Şahap succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Abdulhamit Onatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeki Turan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdulhamit Onatsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeki Turan's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Güzelyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Zeki Turan came free, but Abdulhamit Onatsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cenan Önel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeki Turan in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulhamit Onatsu saved Güzelyurt from getting behind. Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abdulhamit Onatsu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th minute, Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulhamit Onatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeki Turan in the 82nd minute of the match. Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Abdulhamit Onatsu made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Güzelyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Keçeci came free, but Abdulhamit Onatsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazım Tolun hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Resadiye got a corner. Güzelyurt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Batur İpek ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Resadiye's Batur İpek to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdulhamit Onatsu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
