Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayyip Sabih to make the kick off. Ali Macit Avşar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykan Kornes in the 52nd minute of the match. Baykan Kornes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Avşar having to interfere. Baykan Kornes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertuğrul Ruhsat couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched artovaspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
