The crowd rose to their feet as Andaç Ongay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güral Talaykan. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Güral Talaykan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevher Tunca in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Celal Alanson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silopi FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsancak the free kick. After 16 played minutes Silopi FK got a freekick which was hit by Celal Alanson. In the 23rd minute Ilie Lăcătuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Cevdet İmamoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Alsancak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uluç Özguner to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Danış Yalın lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Silopi FK's Cevher Tunca got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alsancak's Güral Talaykan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevher Tunca in the 53rd minute of play. Güral Talaykan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Anıl Ünver in the 55th minute of play. Ilie Lăcătuș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Cevher Tunca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güral Talaykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Lăcătuș was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Güral Talaykan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Anıl Ünver in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Ilie Lăcătuș notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Silopi FK's Melih Cevdet İmamoğlu. Melih Cevdet İmamoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Güral Talaykan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevher Tunca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celal Alanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Talaykan having to interfere. Melih Cevdet İmamoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Lăcătuș in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Alsancak were awarded a corner. Özalp Özmen went to the cornerflag to take it. Özalp Özmen made a great header on Alsancak's corner, it was just that Silopi FK's Melih Cevdet İmamoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
