The throw-in from Abdulaziz Tekgül in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Basyayla's Fahrettin Satır. Yeni Kırşehir FK's Bekir Işıklar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ozan Bayındır in the 12th minute of play. Ahmet Boran Olgunsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atak Tanır in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Yeni Kırşehir FK's Şahap Ezrak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Boran Olgunsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 minutes, Bünyamin Kayra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basyayla and the Yeni Kırşehir FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Basyayla getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bünyamin Kayra hit a great ball. Basyayla's Ahmet Boran Olgunsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir İstanbul in the 27th minute of play. Ahmet Boran Olgunsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahap Ezrak in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necat Saner in the 30th minute of play forced Basyayla's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Olgunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fahrettin Satır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bekir Işıklar having to interfere. Bekir Işıklar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahrettin Satır, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ahmet Boran Olgunsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Sanal in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Basyayla's goal looked a bit too open when Şahap Ezrak came free, but Ahmet Boran Olgunsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Fahrettin Satır made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of Yeni Kırşehir FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yeni Kırşehir FK. Ahmet Boran Olgunsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahap Ezrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Ahmet Ozan Bayındır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yeni Kırşehir FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paşa Ali Paşa hit a great ball. Bünyamin Kayra came free in the 69th minute and tried to tip the ball over Bekir Işıklar, but to the joy of Yeni Kırşehir FK's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Basyayla's Bünyamin Kayra got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Bünyamin Kayra off the ground. Bünyamin Kayra hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Arın Sanal scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Boran Olgunsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Atak Tanır made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Boran Olgunsu. Basyayla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yeni Kırşehir FK fully deserved thier win.
